Simon Sinek, a British-American author, motivational speaker and marketing consultant famously talks about how successful companies don’t just tell people what they do or what they sell but talk about why they do it. If your potential clients or customers understand why you do what you do, this is what inspires them… and will inspire others.
Very few companies understand this, but as humans we are drawn to leaders that communicate what they believe. Making us feel safe and that we belong is what inspires us to be part of what they are offering whether it be a service or a product. Simon Sinek also uses the analogy that Martin Luther King gave his “I have a dream” speech, not his “I have a plan” speech… which may not have had the same impact.
So why have we developed the Recruiterly platform?
The Recruiterly platform was created by co-founders Matthew Gibbs and Jamie Robshaw. The pair had (and still have) a dream to improve on and raise the reputation of the recruitment industry. In a sector which grew at a rate of 8.6% during 2017 (a trend set to continue), Matthew and Jamie wanted to help both recruiters and employers make better informed decisions about who they chose to work with.
Jamie confirmed that: “We have seen the challenges that employers face when recruiting for their business… our ultimate goal was to take away some of the stress and time of finding the best talent and resources, as well as raising recruiters’ reputations within their industry.
“We are passionate about helping to change the reputation of an industry that has seen huge growth over the last 12 months. The Recruiterly platform allows hiring managers to access a unique database of verified and reputable recruiters that can be trusted with their most important hiring requirements.”
Today, technology is changing the shape of recruitment. More and more recruiters and employers are using RecTech to streamline their recruitment process, saving both time and money.
Gibbs continued: “We saw a gap in the market to use technology, to help match top quality recruiters with the best employers out there. The issue was actually bringing these two parties to the table. This dream transformed into the Recruiterly platform – a fully integrated employer to recruiter job marketplace.”
With more and more data available to businesses, especially within the recruitment sector, we wanted to develop a platform that can use, analyse and take full advantage of the information available to us in a unique and, most importantly, useful way – one that can expand and develop as the technology available to us improves.
2018 will see the Recruiterly platform change the way recruiters and hiring managers find the best talent for their businesses, build their brand and positively change the reputation of the recruitment industry… and this is just the beginning.
