Sending an interview feedback to candidates email is a good way to end things on a positive note. You can also encourage the entry-level candidates to apply for other positions in the future.

Use this interview feedback email as an opportunity to inform candidates of what their resume and interview lacked and how they can improve for their next job application. Start off by mentioning what you did like about the candidate’s application. Also discuss the interview process so they know what went well. Then, let them know what you were looking for that they lacked. Be sure to give honest and specific feedback for each applicant, rather than vague comments about being underqualified.

It is important to avoid using any discriminatory language that may result in legal issues. Focus instead on qualities or qualifications that candidates could potentially improve, such as their training or experience.

Choose between encouraging candidates to apply again in the future if you think they would be a good fit, or wishing them the best of luck if you are not interested in future applications from them.
